This is the reason why we love the bulbs they sell at the Old Strathcona farmers' market. I had written a post on the farmers' market and mentioned this vendor "The Tulip Guy" (as my wife and I call it, altough he does not sell only tulips) along with some pictures of the 4 bulbs they I bought that day: they turned into beautiful white and purple hyacinthus. The picture above was taken a week later, and the picture below 2 weeks later.
It is amazing the quality and longevity of these flowers and I wish you could smell the fragrance that is coming from them. It goes to show us that when a person has a passion for what their doing it exudes from the products they sell and this is evident with the "Tulip guy" at the Old Strathcona Farmers market.
Give them a try you won't be disappointed.
Happy Saturday to you all!
When I am not cooking, I enjoy playing musical instruments, singing, writing. I have learned over the years to live in gratitude and enjoy the moment.
