Eataly is an amazing experience. Wheter you go there to eat, shop, gather with friends, just stroll around in search for something specific, or to satisfy your curiosity with food and drinks, it's THE place. Pick a day when you have a lot of time because there's so much to see and experience, an hour would never suffice the Eataly visit.
Eataly is the epitomy of Italian products and culture. Only high end, organic, regional products from the vast selection of meat, fish, dairy, pasta fresh or dried, flour, confectionary, beer, wine, oil, sweets, books, kitchen utensiles, beauty balms, soaps and lotions. The greatest part of Eataly is their selection of restaurants which would cover any particular craving you would have.
All in all, I would definitely recommend to stop by in any of the cities where it's located (Torino, Milano, Roma, Firenze, Genova, Bari, Bologna, New York City, Chicago, Dubai, Istanbul and Japan).
The following are some pictures that I took during my last visit at Eataly in Rome, where I go every time I'm back. This time I couldn't bring my husband because he is in Canada right now, but we've been here quite a few times and it always makes our day. Today my mom and dad were with me and then my brother joined us too. We went in at around 11.30 a.m. and went out at 2.30 p.m. That time included shopping and -of course- a lunch stop. It goes without saying, we had a great time. I brought home: bread, manitoba and cake flours, tomato sauce, carnaroli rice, parmigiano reggiano D.O.P. aged 36 months, strawberries, shower oil, yogurt, milk, butter, ricotta, basil plant, zucchini and a bottle of red wine "Primitivo". Very very satisfactory.
